Installation Mass is being held at St. Patrick Church

Pope Leo XIV has urged Catholics worldwide to pray the Rosary daily in October 2025 for global peace, personally, in families, and in communities. He announced a special large-scale Rosary prayer gathering in St. Peter's Square on October 11, 2025, at 6:00 PM Rome time as part of the Jubilee of Marian Spirituality.

AN ICON OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

Will be on display at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in York, PA from October 1st to the 8th 2025. The icon will be the centerpiece of a special Sacred Heart Holy Hour on October 8 th at 6:30pm.

The holy hour is sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council #11872. The Sacred Heart Holy Hour will include readings from Sacred Scripture and prayers. Following the event, families are encouraged to enthrone the Sacred Heart in their homes by placing an image of the Sacred Heart in a place of honor.

Immediately after the Holy Hour a Social reception will be held in the cafeteria. This devotion was inspired by Jesus’ promise to St. Mary Margaret Alacoque to “bless every place in which an image of [his] Heart is exposed and honored.
