There are two special graces available on Divine Mercy Sunday:

On Divine Mercy Sunday, both extraordinary graces and a plenary indulgence are available, but they differ in their conditions and effects.

EXTRAORDINARY GRACES, promised by Jesus to St. Faustina, are obtained through trusting in His Divine Mercy and receiving Holy Communion worthily. Complete forgiveness of all of our sins and the removal of all punishment of past sins.

The PLENARY INDULGENCE, granted by the Church, requires a detachment from sin, confession, Communion, and prayer for the Holy Father's intentions.

Celebration of the Canonization of Carlo Acutis – First Millennial Saint! Sunday, April 27: St. Patrick Church

Join us next Sunday! Because Carlo was extremely devoted to the Most Blessed Sacrament, and in a particular way, documented Eucharistic Miracles from around the world, we will conclude the 8am Mass next Sunday with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

Then we will have a Holy Hour of prayer in thanksgiving to God for the gift of this new saint concluding at 10am with Benediction. During that time we will also hear of other Eucharistic Miracles and the miracles that led to Carlo’s being raised to the altars as a saint!

Living Our Faith as Pilgrims of Hope:

Teaches the Children
Our 33 catholic schools and parish based religious education programs, in partnership with parents, are preparing the next generation both academically and spiritually. Through increases in financial aid funds, our schools are able to offer even greater assistance to families and stabilize school budgets. Your gift to the DAC provides additional expertise and guidance to our administrative staff at the schools as well as training for the parish religious education teachers.

Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Goal: $25,916. So far 35 of the 192 families of our parish have made their gift/pledge, meaning that as of March 31, $14,563 has been collected or pledged for the 2025 Diocesan Annual Campaign. If each family gave $175, we would meet & exceed our goal – and everything we are able to raise over our goal is returned to our parish and will be deposited into our savings account intended for our future building project. Won’t you join them to support the work of the Diocesan Church?
